The worldwide Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has resulted in serious health problems as well as understandable levels of concern on the part of building occupants.

Minimizing risk and protecting people in their homes, businesses and in public has proven difficult, especially with limited, and often conflicting information.

Novus Facility & Response Management, Inc. has teamed up the University of North Dakota Environmental Training Institute (ETI) to provide a full suite of COVID-19 Management Services for building owners, property management companies, government agencies, cleaning companies and remediation contractors.

As a leader in hazard identification and remediation, Novus has developed programs to help ensure that workplace and employees are kept safe and are provided the highest assurances their work spaces are hazard free. As always, we will be providing rapid response and nationwide services including 24/7 availability and in-depth guidance.

Coronavirus COVID-19 Cleaning & Building Decontamination

Services include:

COVID-19 Training (Through UND ETI)

COVID-19 Awareness Level Training (1 Hour) – This training is designed to provide an accurate overview of the virus, including background information, health effects, transmittal methods, safe work practices, personal protective equipment and proper decontamination. This course can be delived in-person, live webinar format, or as a self-paced online course that can be customized to you facility and employees.

COVID-19 General Cleaning (2 Hour) – This course expands on the Awareness Level Training but including training topics for employees who will perform general coronavirus cleaning and disinfecting activities. This course can be delived in-person, live webinar format, or as a self-paced online course that can be customized to you facility and employees.

COVID-19 Advanced Cleaning & Decontamination (varies) – This is designed to teach cleaning and remediation workers how to effectively decontaminate work and living spaces using state of the art procedures. Training will also include advanced PPE training. This course is delivered in person only due to hands-on training components.

COVID-19 Environmental Testing (2 Hour) – Provides an overview on testing options for evaulation of surfaces, pre-cleaning testing and post-cleaning verification testing. Class will cover numerous testing methods including ATP and protein swabs as well as Real-time PCR testing including onsite and laboratory based analysis methods.
